the Lacuna

I just finished the Lacuna by Barbara Kingslover last night. It was so great. I couldn't put it down, and as a result, am trying to recover from a lack of sleep from the past week. Kingslover is so thorough in her historical references. I feel like I learned so much. Even though it is fiction, the historical setting and atmosphere is factual. I highly recommend it, as I do most all of her other books (I've read about 90% of what she's written, so I can't vouch for all of her books). Thanks, mom and dad, for the wonderful Christmas gift!
