Some things I've been making

So, we are going to attempt the cloth diaper route. Here's a couple of pictures of the diapers I've been making. They aren't too difficult to sew and it's been an enjoyable thing for me to do. Kinda part of the nesting thing, I suppose. On the inside, you can see the soaker and the booster layers which are removable, so often you don't have to wash the entire diaper.

Rob does a little dance

I fly...

like the bird.

I swim...

like the fish.

And I sleep in the meadow...
like the deer.

Our neighborhood is blooming

Irises and pansies

Crocuses are popping up everywhere

Little daffodils

Today, we took a walk around Green Lake and then through our neighborhood. These are some photos of the lovely flowers that are blooming. Today it was 60 degrees!

It's been awhile

Well, we haven't been very good at updating our blog for the past three months. The biggest issue was that our camera broke and we had no way of taking pictures. I personally think reading only text on a blog is boring. We recently got a new camcorder that works as a camera too, so we have lots of new pictures to put up.

Last week, we took a hike through Discovery Park. It was about 50 degrees, sunny, and absolutely beautiful. Many of the trees were already blooming and leafing out. Seattle is truly an amazing place to live. We love the temperate weather. Sorry for to my siblings that are snowed in or having to deal with sub 0 temperatures. I guess you'll just have to move back to the Northwest. Here's a few photos from our hike.
