Look who is TWO!!!

Gideon! He turned two on Christmas Eve and we took a little time to celebrate with song and cake and gifts. I can't believe he is two! His personality is developing more and more each day. Here's what I'm noticing about this little guy these days- he LOVES nursing and snuggling, he is carefree and wild, he loves doing whatever Jasper is doing and whatever Jasper is interested in, he really likes shooting things (with his finger or a stick or anything pretty much), he's kinda into demolishing things right now, he is talking up a storm- new words and sentences everyday, his favorite sentence at the moment is "watch mommy, watch!", he doesn't like being told what to do, and he's a little bit stubborn when it comes to getting his way. He's caught a case of the "tantrum twos" at the moment, but these things come and go and I feel more and more the importance of cherishing every moment with Gideon, whether it be a good moment or a frustrating moment. He's such a wonderful, joyful child. Where Jasper has always been a more thoughtful, hesitate child, Gideon is more carefree and go with the flow. They are so different in many ways, and yet, so much alike and loving toward one another.
