Daisies in the lawn

One thing I really love are daisies growing in the lawn. I know this sounds kinda crazy coming from me, since I'm a gardener who strives for weed-free-ness. I love pulling weeds and lawn daisies are definitely considered noxious by some. But to me, lawn daisies are one of my guilty pleasures. They add a touch of simple beauty to the boring green canvas of grass. In high school, my girlfriends and I would make daisy chains and wear them in our hair for the rest of the day. I still can't resist sitting in the grass and making a daisy chain when the opportunity arises. Anyway, here's a few photos of daisies growing in some grass near my house.

I remember making daisy chains with you growing up Sara. I remember us making bracelets, anklets, necklackes and head crowns with them. What a fun memory.
