Rob is on a baking bread kick! I love it. We spend a lot of money on what I call "yummy bread" because I'm what some might call a bread snob. Rob has taken it upon himself to learn the art of baking artisan bread. Golly! He's totally knocked my socks off! He's baked 9 loaves of artisan bread in the past two weeks. And each loaf just keeps getting better! Thanks to our friend Sarah K who sparked Rob's interest when she shared a delicious, fast and easy bread recipe with him. Here's what he baked tonight:
I forgot to post anything on Valentine's Day, but Rob was totally a sweetheart and baked me up a delicious chocolate cake. Here's a picture of that masterpiece:
I feel a little bit spoiled and also a little rounder in the belly department with all this deliciousness around me!

Oh my goodness, so cool! I want the recipe! I've never made artisan bread before. Do you have to be an artist? ;)

looks delicious! my sister-in-law has had fabulous success with the book "Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day" which I got Jonathan for Valentine's Day. Didn't get a chance to try it before we ripped out our kitchen though. :(
