The weekend thus far...

This has been a great weekend. Friday, I took the boys to the zoo where we met up with the Schmidt and Mendenhall gangs. We were quite the troop with two kids each, swapping strollers, chasing kids, sharing snacks, etc, etc. It was really fun. The weather was great and we saw a ton of animals. The only downer was I lost my third hat this winter... I guess I've got too many diapers and snack traps and mittens to keep track of these days.

Friday evening we went to our P-Patch for about two and a half hours. We planted carrots, peas, and built a potato trench. Next week we will plant swiss chard and spinach.

Today, we spent the morning at the Aquarium. We had such a good time, us Egberts. It's so fun when we have Rob with us. I wish we could just hang out together all the time...
