Boys Night In

Sara went out for a "Girls Night Out" that included some celebrations for new babies arrived and yet to arrive (we're pulling for you, KHD!).

So I had the opportunity to host a Boyz Night In - Jasper did the dishes and washed himself for bedtime so Gid and I could take a nap. Good times were had by all:

Sara was hoping that I would get a taste of the state of hopelessness she often enters when both kids are crying, but - magically - they were perfect angels for me. We all read books before Jasper's bedtime and Gid alternated between sleeping and calmly alert. To keep my ego in check, Gid now will rarely fall asleep for me, opting instead for Mama's bosom.

I love it! Very creative with the speed up thing and the music behind. Vince and I are laughing. I AM grateful that I can log onto your blog and see photos etc of the fam growing! I hate not being there for every little moment.

That was so CUTE. I laughed out loud and Brandon wanted to know what I was watching. Jasper is such a sweetie. I'm loving how you found a way to keep him entertained. I even heard him say "elbow" in there.
Anyway, LOVE IT.

I loved this!!!

What a great video. My favorite part was Jasper cursing at the dishes at the beginning. And then when he took that soap and put it in his armpit. Oh! It was adorable! So fun. I want you to make us a cool video!

Yeah, what the heck is with the kids behaving so well with dad? I once left Sean with Max for 5 hours. I was so worried I would get back and Sean would be frazzled...turns out, Max slept the WHOLE TIME!! I tell ya, I just don't get it.
