Horsey, horsey

Jasper LOVES playing "horsey, horsey" with daddy. Rob lies on his back, puts his feet in the air, and Jasper sits on his feet and bounces up and down as Rob sings:

horsey, horsey all the way,
we've been together for a many of day,
so let your tail go swish,
your wheels go round,
giddy-up, we're homeward bound

gonna take a horse and buggy,
gonna ride in through the town,
gonna take a horse and buggy,
gonna ride it all around- oh...

repeat first stanza

Growing up, this was one of MY favorite things to do with my dad (in addition to airplane and blanket monster). Dads are so great. They are so much fun. I, for obvious reasons, can't play horsey horsey and airplane with Jasper. I don't really feel like chasing him around our apartment for 45 minutes each evening, but Rob revels in it. He and Jasper have such a cute daddy/son relationship and I'm so thankful for it.

Anyway, Jasper has been playing "horsey, horsey" on anything that he can lately. I have to say, it's a little embarrassing to have your son riding an electrical pole on busy Fremont Avenue...

(he makes these really cute neighing noises as he's doing this)

So cute. That song totally reminds me of Dad. Remember how he would flip us at the end?
