I am just loving this little babe of mine more and more each day! I love being a mama. Rob loves being a papa. I started working two days a week, which was kinda hard the first day. I was sad to leave Jasper. I quickly remembered how much I enjoy my job and the arboretum, though, being with kids and outdoors. It's good for papa to have some Jasper time too. The first day I was back at work they went to the zoo together- NO FAIR!
So, Jasper has embarked on his journey into solid foods. Here are some of his recent meals:
Banana in a mesh baggie thing
Food grinder
Sweet potato
Papa and Jasper and mashed up carrots

I want to give him hugs!! He is so round and loveable.
If it makes you feel any better about going back to work--I read a study recently that showed that women who work don't spend any less time with their children, they just spend less time doing chores!! So hopefully while you're out playing with kids Rob will be moping/cleaning toilets/etc! :)

Jasper is so cute! I am very jealous of your trip to Africa :-)! It looks like it was amazing - I especially love the picture of you holding Jasper next to the mom and baby from the Massai tribe - the contrast is great. I work 2 afternoons a week also and I think it has really strengthened the bond Mike has with the girls. Plus, it's nice to have a break and have people know you for something other than being a fabulous mom :-)!
