I'm having one of those moments...
When you get kind of sad that your baby is growing up so fast. Jasper is 4. He's at such an incredibly fun age - curious, inquisitive, devouring facts and information, active, playful, etc. We had a conversation on the way home from nature school about cells. He started listing off all the things that are made out of cells. He got to car tires and said "Yes, mom. Car tires are made out of cells because they are made from rubber and rubber comes from the bark of trees and tree bark is made out of cells." What??!!! I don't remember teaching him that. That must have been his father, the cell specialist. I complimented him on the way he used his brain and worked through a problem and found an answer. I didn't want to say "YOU ARE SO SMART!" because the books tell you to avoid telling your kid they are smart over and over. Anyway, my point is, he is growing up and I feel like it's flying by faster than I'd like. So, I am indulging myself and looking through old photos of him:

He is a genius!
I love seeing these old pics. He was totally chubs like Alice! And I forgot about that fro he had! That was so cool.
Those are the best moments... when you sit down and are just overwhelmed with love for your kids! What a cutie!
Sara, I get these moments all the time. Just this last week I was looking at Audrey and thinking, "Where did this little girl come from? She was my baby but just yesterday." It makes my heart ache. At least we have these moments. Some don't get any.
Jasper sure looks like Gid in some of these! You have such handsome boys, Sara!
