Finger painting
We had a rainy afternoon a few days ago, so I busted out the paints for the boys so they could explore their creative side (and make a mess :) They had a great time. Any suggestions on how to keep a one year old from eating the paint? I know paint is not the best thing to be eating, but Gid is so curious and needs to taste EVERYTHING! I don't remember this being such a huge issue with Jasper. I figure letting him taste things around him is a good thing, but probably not eating paint! We had to call it quits with the art project when his mouth was oozing with red and purple paint. Nonetheless, they made a beautiful mural and had fun cleaning up in the bathtub afterward.

Cute! You are such a fun mom to let them smear the paint all over (and eat it!).
I don't know much about how to get them not to eat the paint, but maybe you could try finger painting with pudding- then they could eat it?
Oooo! Good idea, sis!! I'm definitely going to try that!
They are SOOO cute!!!
I love it. Your kids are artists!
I remember seeing a mom who had their kids paint on a canvas and then hung them up. I think this age is perfect because they aren't trying to draw small things. She painted the canvas in a solid color and then let her girls paint on top of that- that way it looked like a finish product.
