Gideon's crawling and Jasper's imagination

The past two weeks have been pretty big ones for Gideon. He has REALLY started crawling. It's been about a month of tummy dragging skooching around, but he's got it down now. Rob was really happy a few days ago when Gid crawled across our entire living room/dining room to greet Rob when we came home from work. Gid also got his first two teeth as the end of July. He really likes to eat food. I have this very nifty food mill and I grind up whatever we are eating right on the spot (last night we had meat balls with spaghetti which looked a bit gross after I'd run it through the mill, but smelled and tasted just the same).

Hello!

Jasper has entered the world of creative play! It's so fun to see him in his own little world, talking to himself. The past few days he's been playing cars and the cars will be talking to one another and one of them is named Max (his best friend) and they had this conversation: "Hey Max. What you doing? Driving. Vroom, vroom. What you doing? Going over here. I'm sorry. I love you. Mmmmma (sound for kissing)!" It was adorable. He's also really into playdough and doing all kinds of fabulous, creative things with that. Oh, and he's been doing tons of puzzles. He really likes puzzles.
