Matty-D, Chrystal, and Ben

What a fun weekend! Three of my high school buddies came to Seattle for a visit, which was awesome. Friday night, Matty-D stayed at our place. It was so nice to catch up and chat. Jasper and I took him on a tour of our P-Patch, Rob showed him to our local grocery store, and later we played a game of Scrabble. Saturday, we took the bus down to the Folklife Festival with our friends the Hadleys and met up with Matt down there. It was a little trickier this year now that Jasper is mobile. He's also kind of sick, so he just wasn't himself, but he was a good sport nonetheless. Sunday night, Chystal and Ben and Matt all came over for a BBQ. It was really fun. Jasper entertained us all with his constant activeness. I put candles in the pan of rice crispy treats and we sang happy birthday to Chrystal. It was a really good evening. I sure wish some of these friends of mine from Corvallis lived in Seattle...
