A visit from my mom and Caroline

Two of my favorite people on the planet came to visit last weekend- Caroline Raynor, my dear college roomate, and my mother. We had such a great time together. They came up for my baby shower (which was really great), and to hang out for two days. We played scrabble, walked around Greenlake with Pepper, went to Pike's market, and visited the brand new Olympic Sculpture Park ( http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/visit/OSP/default.asp).The sculpture park was really, really neat! There was an Alexander Calder piece, the Typewriter Eraser by Oldenburg, and Rob and my favorite-Split by Roxy Paine. Here are some pictures of the park and our weekend.

Yeah! You posted. Scrabble- how fun! Did you beat Mom?

Sara, you are the scrabble legacy in our family. You are going to be the hard sister to beat like "Merrie" is. I am going to practice and then next time we are together, we can play. That will be my goal in life, to beat my little sister at scrabble okay?
