Nature Preschool Blog

I've been toying with the idea of starting a second blog devoted to my "nature school" for awhile. I've decided to go ahead and start it! I will use this second blog to post lesson plans, pictures, ideas, tips and resources for outdoor education.

When I started this nature preschool a year and a half ago, I had the hardest time finding lesson plans online. I found tons of preschool appropriate activities and lesson ideas, but they were all for indoor classroom settings. It takes a lot of time and thinking outside of the box for me to figure out how to modify activities for the outdoor setting. I hope that this nature preschool blog will be helpful to those who want to get outside with their kiddos. Maybe it will even inspire some to start their own little outdoor explorers group :)!

Christmas time

I just re-watched this movie of Jasper from last year singing, "Santa Clause is coming to town". I sure love this adorable little boy of mine!



I got to sub in primary yesterday and Jasper is the loudest little singer in there :) He just belts out the words to every song loud and clear. He still hasn't reached that stage of being embarrassed about anything.... I love it. I hope it never ends.

Oh, and I just watched another one of my boys when they were babies.... Oh my goodness! They are so grown up now!
